TRAINING WORKSHOP: PODCASTING 101, MASTER THE BASICS AND LAUNCH YOUR OWN SHOW

Join Wheelworks Art’s Comms Officer Tom Thorpe to learn about podcasting and how to establish your own audio podcast on 7 June 2023 (details also on WWA website).

During the workshop, you'll explore topics such as:

·         What are the key elements of a successful podcast?

·         How do you plan and structure your content?

·         What equipment and software do you need to get started?

By the end of the workshop, you'll have a clear understanding of the podcasting landscape and be well on your way to launching your own show. You'll also could connect with other aspiring podcasters and receive personalised feedback on your ideas.

Tom Thorpe is a podcasting expert with a wealth of experience. As a communications officer for Wheelworks Arts, Tom understands the importance of effective communication and knows how to make content that stands out. He is a historian and scholar, but also runs two podcasts for fun, which have garnered over 650k downloads. His passion for podcasting and extensive knowledge in marketing, hosting, editing, and producing podcasts will help guide you in creating a successful podcast of your own.
