Good relations creative training

ReThink is an interactive training for community workers to upskill, offering a new approach to advancing good relations.

This programme is aimed at upskilling youth and community leaders, staff, volunteers, support teams, community organisations, and more, to help promote diversity and foster a shared future within communities.

Guided by an executive coach and a WheelWorks artist, participants use unique, creative methodologies to deepen their understanding of biases, integrations, legacy, sectarianism, racism, and demographic change.

The training is aimed at upskilling participants to develop self-awareness and self-knowledge, reflection on personal views, and mindfulness. Build a shared outlook using art as a tool. Develop a new narrative to progress and foster diversity and a collective ethos. Reflect, engage, and learn.

Good relations-themed engagement and training plays a crucial role in the effective implementation of GR strategy in our communities.

For this, it’s important to upskill and build capacity in the frontline workforce of community and youth leaders, general staff, volunteers, council staff members and other community organisations.

The focus for this training is to bring cross community peers who work within the community to collaborate using local knowledge, offering participants a chance to relate and reflect on learning through creative and coaching processes.

ReThink offers the opportunity to lay foundations for a transformed and more shared society in the future while advancing good relations and celebrating cultural expression.

Join in to explore good relations themes through creative mediums.

Fully funded and free to attend.

This upskilling training consists of two half days, with a light lunch included, and a celebration event in late January.
