iWill visited Queen University Belfast Student Union to recruit volunteers
The WellWorks Art’s iWILL Programme visited the student union at Queen’s University Belfast to recruit participants for the project. This was part of a careers fair and 20 recruits were enlisted in the programme.
The Programme provides transformative opportunities for individuals aged 18 and above, offering both Creative Influencer roles and Work Experience placements. Tailored for those aged 18 to 25, the Creative Influencer track involves co-designing roles, contributing to research and advocacy, and culminates in a prestigious certificate. Volunteer Support roles aid in recruitment and session facilitation. Meanwhile, Work Experience placements, open to all, encompass internships and project support. Complementing these offerings is the iLEAD Youth Volunteer Training, focusing on marginalized youth aged 16 and above, providing intensive training, certification, and a pathway to transition into the iWILL Programme as Peer Leaders, further enriching the programme's impact and fostering a community of empowered changemakers.
