INTRODUCING kIT AND DIGITAL INNOVATION!

Kit Rees joined Wheelworks Arts as a Digital Development Officer last month.

He is is a multi-disciplinary artist based in Belfast Northern Ireland. In 2022, Kit graduated with a First Class BA Hons in Graphic Design and Illustration from the Ulster University. He has a particular passion for digital arts which makes his role as one of our Digital Development Officers especially fulfilling for him. He is also an artist who goes out to facilitate our workshops with young people - he always fits in as he's not afraid to get silly to make the kids laugh.

He has previously worked as an animator, social media manager, and illustrator. 

In his free time, Kit designs and sews his own clothes, performs in drag, and writes stand-up comedy. He is a volunteer at the Belfast Trans Resource Centre and is always open to commissions for clothes, art, or jokes! You can find out more about him at www.kitrees.com
