Creative Farewell: Wheelworks Arts Bids Adieu to Great Victoria Street Train Station

As Belfast bids farewell to Great Victoria Street Train Station, Wheelworks Arts (WWA) orchestrated a vibrant farewell event on 10 May 2024.

Attendees left their mark on a Guest Book graphic designed by WWA’s own Kit Rees.

They signed their names, signing with messages and drawings, a colourful homage to the station's diverse community.

Children from local schools joined in, engaging in creative activities like drawing maps and virtual train journeys.

WWA's involvement underscores the enduring importance of art in Belfast's landscape, ensuring the station's legacy lives on through creativity and innovation.
